Breathe in slowly. You think you know me but you a just a piece of me to die.
I could never live forever if I was like the world and all its lies.
When our minds are far away...
We'll feel it shine. We'll make the shitty things on through to better times.
We'll smash it down, staring at a wall we have no problem turning round.

Steal some friendship for somewhere to be.
It never could be me.
I was taken by the way you looked at me.
We were both so bound not knowing what is free.
Now there's something deep that's got a hold on me.

People.
I don't believe the words people say.
You wont believe the games that they play.
Scary people.
As a child I was taught by people called believers not to believe in people.
I see a child and what it can be, and where we go wrong in this awful machine of people.
Selfish people.
